Publisher Workflows

Most research literature production workflows fall into one of three categories:

1. TeX/LaTeX workflows
2. Page layout workflows (using Adobe InDesign and Quark XPress)
3. SGML and/or XML based workflows

These workflows occur mostly within society or large commercial publishers.
