Welcome to the OpenMath website. OpenMath is an extensible
standard for representing the semantics of mathematical objects. If you
haven't heard about it before you might want to consult the overview.

November 4th 2008: The OpenMath 2 CDs can also be browsed and discussed in the wiki now.

October 28th 2008: To support the reviewing and maintenance of the Content Dictionaries for OpenMath 3, there is now a special
wiki at wiki.openmath.org, where they can be browsed and discussed. The OpenMath 3 developers can also edit.

June 25th 2007: The Business meeting of the
OpenMath Society starts the discussion process for a new version of the OpenMath
standard with the goal of aligning with the content fragment of the new MathML3 standard
under development by the Math Working Group at
W3C. Discussions will be public on the OM3 Mailing list.

June 25th 2007: The Business meeting of the OpenMath Society elects a new
President (Michael Kohlhase),
Secretary (Olga Caprotti),
CD Editor (James Davenport), and
Web Officer (Paul Libbrecht).

July 09 2006: The OpenMath web-site is now hosted by
DFKI GmbH.
The site is now built using a script, please send comments and requests to
Paul Libbrecht
since potentially many old URLs are not honoured anymore.
